L'Unité Hydro Météorologique (UHM), de concert avec le Secrétariat Permanent de gestion des risques (SPGRD) et le Service Maritime et de la Navigation d'Haïti (SEMANAH), maintient, ce lundi l'avis de forts vents et de vagues anormales sur les côtes Nord et Sud du pays, lancé samedi L'UHM explique qu'une large zone de haute pression, située sur l'Atlantique Nord, occasionne un temps plus ou moins sec et très venteux sur la Caraïbe centrale. Si les activités de pluie seront limitées, la mer par contre sera fortement agitée sur les côtes Nord et Sud. La météo prévoit de forts vents, des vagues anormales pouvant aller jusqu'à 4,6 m de hauteur et une pénétration des eaux marines sur la côte Nord.
